He knew it to be a stupid idea. One which if caught could land him behind bars. Maybe even dumped in Mariole River. But ah, the rewards he could reap from this once in a lifetime opportunity. His parents would be so proud of him. That is to say if everything goes to plan. No, best not to dwell on those thoughts. He took one of the fragile wires in his hand, a red one to be exact, and yanked it out of the socket. At once, the entire facility came to a halt. The whirling from the machines inside silenced as the lights died. He just hoped the weapon he was stealing would be an easy catch. Not wasting a moment, he snuck in while the guards are distracted. It won’t be long for them to find the problem he created. It would buy him time though. His employer would surely have his head should he fail.
