Awoir asked me once for a bedtime story. I took it upon myself to create a story about a little pig (he loves pigs!)
I hope you all sleep better after reading, please enjoy.
Once upon a time there was a young boy named Awoir. He had rosy cheeks and a beautiful smile. He would play ball, and climb trees, and run around with kids his own age; all the normal things little boys do.
One day, as he was walking past a farm close to his house, he came across a small pig with a curly tail and a pink belly. The pig would oink and it made little Awoir so happy. Awoir decided to name him Snout and, together, they remained firm friends, with Snout following little Awoir wherever he went. They seemed to have a bond that nothing could ever break, and life seemed to get even better for Awoir now he had a pet of his own!
After a while however Awoir became hungry. He wondered what he could do about this as his tummy grumbled and complained. Snout could hear Awoir's grumbly tummy too, and looked at Awoir sympathetically with his small, piggy eyes.
Awoir had an idea. He walked, with Snout, into a barn on the outskirts of the farm where he first met Snout. Snout loyally followed Awoir into the barn, as his faithful friend he followed Awoir everywhere.
Awoir searched the barn and found what he was searching for. A sharp, long knife which glinted from the sun creeping in through the door to the barn. With a swift, sickening slash he cut Snout's throat, the deep wound gushing blood which soaked into the straw covered floor of the barn. Snout looked up at Awoir, a look of puzzlement and sorrow, before collapsing to the floor, dead.
Awoir spent the next couple of hours dissecting Snout's corpse. Bacon, gammon, brains all went into various buckets ready for consumption. Awoir's whole body became soaked with Snout's blood but the hunger drove him on, faster until everything that remained of Snout was piles of meat. Awoir bundled everything he could carry, and walked home.
Now home and cleaned up, Awoir started to eat the bacon sandwich he had made for himself. As he was chewing he thought for a brief second about how life would be different without Snout. Then he remembered how much better life was now that his hunger had been satisfied.
Awoir began to laugh uncontrollably into the silence of the room, and once he'd started, he found that he could not stop.
