TOPIC: Because Shred made me do this - staplezorz

Hey everyone! I don't typically post in general much, but I figure I would give this a go!
I am a 31 year old husband and father of two in the NOVA area. I have been around TC pretty much since the beginning (rocking that unobtainable Triumph ;D ) but used to go by the handle reddragoon.
When I am not clicking at a mediocre rate, I am wearing my IT hat as a sysadmin for a church. I have a mix bag of hobbies ranging from old school video games (Earthbound, The Legend of Dragoon, Sonic 3 and Knuckles to name some of my favs), to marching percussion, to cast iron cookware.
Are you happy, Shred? Is this good enough?? :D

For tips I would say don't be afraid to clean it with some soap. If you use it regularly it won't really mess up the seasoning. Once I'm done cooking, I clean it out and make sure there are no food bits of anything in it. Then I lightly wipe some olive oil, or any other oil, on the inside and set the burner to high. Once the oil smokes I take it off, wipe out the excess oil and store.

Absolutely! I love geeking out on cast iron, so fire away!
Also they are basically impossible to ruin, so just start using it! Just make sure it's dry after cleaning.
