Hello!

I'm SpeedForce, real name Chris, and I live in Illinois.

I'm a writer, with two self-published (to Amazon) novels, and am working on a third.

I'm a gamer, currently playing World of Warcraft (Vulperan Shadow Priest), Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and a smattering of others (Sea of Thieves, Hades, Dead Cells, The Division 2, and so many more).

I'm a voracious reader, currently reading Black Leopard, Red Wolf, and 'S' by JJ Abrams (and Doug Dorst).

I watch a ton of TV/Movies (currently working through Shameless and The Sinner, while staying caught up on WandaVision and a few others).

I'm a lot of other things (Dad, Husband, Cat owner, Dog owner, and so on).

And I can't seem to stop playing this game because of the community (and the mystery gifter of my Perma Sub). Hope you all enjoy seeing me, I'm probably not going anywhere anytime soon.

OH. I freaking love The Flash. He's my favorite Super Hero, if you can't tell by the username. :)

PS: Someday I'll be the inaugural member of the Cashew Patrol. I love Cashews. So much. And coffee. Thanks for reading.

Yo,

Glad you're here, you're a great part of the community.

Thinking about diving into Hades myself; alas, the backlog is real.

What are your thoughts on pistachios?

RE: Boots

I enjoy most nuts as snacks, honestly. Just on a Cashew kick lately (and forever). Also looooove Macadamia nuts, but they're spendy.

Hades is so good! And yeah, the backlog is ... ridonk. I basically play everything on 'Dad Mode' now so that I can beat games with a defined end. Then sprinkle in a Hades or Dead Cells or so on run now and again.

Thankfully I work from home (for now?) so I can play video games when things are slow ...

Your support for the Cashew Patrol has been noted and you will be recognized thusly when the Patrol begins.

I'm a huge Binding of Isaac fan, Dead Cells is good too but it's also sitting in my backlog. If it goes on sale I'll give it serious consideration, thanks!

So glad to have you here!

I genuinely need to carve out time to read your novels, and I feel guilty that I haven't yet.

Tell us about your wow progression this tier! Are you a raider? M+? PvP? Spriest is killer right now.

Coffee > all.

Glad to have you as a part of this community - also Hades is amazing, I just beat it for the first time last night!

RE: Forcepath

So, I've been playing WoW since OG. Played a Protection Warrior from Molten Core thru 9 bosses of Naxxramas with my guild, then switched to a Resto Druid for Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King. Took some years off, but came back for Legion, enjoying a Demon Hunter and Warlock. Then Battle for Azeroth was a bummer, but for Shadowlands I've been enjoying my Shadow Priest.

My guild is mostly made up of real life friendos, and we're not really hardcore about it because we're all too busy with real life responsibilities (and I haven't been able to raid with them yet honestly). I think they got to the Generals on regular, to give you an idea of progression.

I'm enjoying the content though, clearing Torghast and all that, and hope to do some legit raids eventually, but am fine enough with the amount I play at the moment.
