TOPIC: We Need More Gear Sets (Mostly During Progression)

I've been playing through on a fresh account and I've hit the level 90ish area where I'm basically stuck on clan set from level 75 still. As it stands the only gear to really transition to is the 99 clan set when you get there, which leaves 24 levels with extremely minimal gear changes. This is, frankly, a little bit boring.

This is exacerbated by all "endgame gear" being acquired solely via AC or VM, one of which is unobtainable at time of writing and the other is a very long grind. In some older years we could bridge this gap with decoded gear, but decoded gear is SO much worse now than the pre-made sets available in those few vendors that it's basically pointless to equip any, sometimes even at decode rank 99.

I propose either doing something along the lines of buffing decoding in general (such as making people actually chase things for more than challenge runs, there really should be more acquired gear in the "BIS" category, let people have builds/variety) OR adding more available sets between these giant gaps in gearing. Make a set for like 85-90 area, maybe make a couple sets for high drachma or specially dropped memories from high level mobs to tide people over in the VM/AC grind.

I understand this is probably a lot of work, but I think it would go a very long way for both longevity of the game and overall player interest, both current and future.

Late edit: Personally I believe that buffing decode is the right choice. Right now with how gearing shakes out it makes an entire class of loot feel extremely underwhelming. What should feel rewarding and exciting (for example, dropping yellow memories) feels like it's basically pointless. You open it up for decode points and just instantly dismantle it because, well, why bother wearing something automatically worse in every possible metric?
