TOPIC: Simple UI but less simple?

Instead of, or along with, Simple UI mode, it would be so so helpful to have a setting to separately turn off background images, emblems, etc. Atleast the background image one, I feel like it makes quite a difference sometimes.
Also maybe an option to white/black out cards since it helped a lot while snowstorms happened. It helps so much for people with slower internet.
